Bloodstream – a sequence of 32 duotone images and 32 colour paintings. Lazaretto – 40 colour images and 40 colour paintings.

The River and Firth of Clyde are the principal focus of these series of photographs. Historical references, including industrial growth and decline, colonial expansion with its reliance on slavery, and markers of wartime loss, contribute to images that present evidence of 21st Century decay, regeneration and seasonal variation.
