Noah Kalina:
Tiny Flock

Photographer Noah Kalina left Brooklyn for Upstate New York in 2013, he bought a house with some land and a building he’d convert into his photography studio – then five years later he bought some chickens.

Tiny Flock captures the larger than life characters of Kalina’s chickens in their natural habitats, both outside and inside the studio. The images have the hallmarks of Kalina’s work – natural light and perfect structure, and a seemingly unremarkable subject turns out to be an unexpected visual delight.
